A very popular choice to have during a couple’s cocktail hour is a raw bar. This option
offers guests the opportunity to experience first-hand the bounty that the Cape waters have to offer. We have several local shellfish farmers that we partner with, each with their own unique presentation. No matter which shucker is on hand, the raw bar features local littlenecks and clams. Along with the fresh shellfish, many couples also choose to offer poached shrimp, smoked fish and an assortment of toppings. Even the most reluctant palate often can’t resist sampling these local bivalves as they are opened and prepared right before them. An added bonus is the opportunity to brush elbows with a local shell-fisherman and learn a bit about this old Cape Cod trade.
