Back in Greece where Elona grew-up, she began her working career as a basketball coach with absolutely no interest in food or cooking. She could not even bare to make a sandwich! Fast forward to 1999, Elona landed in the US and began working as dishwasher at the Ocean House in Dennis. Motivated by her competitive spirit, she strove to raise the bar for herself in the kitchen and soon began working as a line cook. As she honed her skills and confidence she was soon made sous chef at her next post and then onward to head chef. Over the next eight plus years as a head chef, Elona has been further inspired by the basic traditions and foundations of multi-cultural cooking styles and flavors.
